Raffle Update!

Hey guys! The raffle drawing was supposed to be Friday, but I received so much feedback from people who were interested in donating, but were waiting for paychecks... so the raffle has been postponed to Wednesday. :-)

Remember, raffle tickets are only $2 or 10 for $10 dollars. There are prizes for 3 places. All prizes are all-natural, environmentally-friendly, skin-friendly, high-quality goat's milk soap gift baskets, just different sizes for 1, 2, and 3 places.

All proceeds go to my Greenpeace Tuition Fund. So by entering this raffle, YOU can HELP make a difference in the environmental future of our world. The Greenpeace Semester is a training program for students who are interested in learning the basics of organizing non-violent campaigns to STOP global destruction.

This world is all we have!! We MUST protect it by making sure our environmental practices are sustainable and renewable. Help me get to the Greenpeace Training so I can help US make a real difference.

I forwarded this to all my family and friends, but feel free to read it again here.

Hi, I want to tell you about my current fundraiser, the Goat's Milk Soap Gift Basket Raffle. This soap was donated from Metzy Mom's Goat's Milk Soap Emporium, (metzymoms.com). This is high-quality, all-natural, environmentally-friendly, skin-friendly, and unisex, luxurious goat's milk soap, easily over a $30 value. Raffle tickets are only $2, or 10 for $10.

Attached is a picture of the grand prize. (There are prizes for up to third place.) As you can see, this is a wonderful basket to give as a gift or use personally! I started using this soap 5 years ago and I will never go back to store brands.

The best thing about participating in this raffle is that all proceeds help protect our environment. You have an opportunity to show a commitment to the protection of our environment while at the same time earning a chance at GREAT PRIZES.

This summer I have the exciting opportunity to be a part of the Greenpeace Semester (www.greenpeace.org/usa/semester). This program is a training course for college students interested in taking an active part in environmental activism.

As you know, working to protect the environment is an issue I’m very passionate about. God made our Earth for us to enjoy and we should protect this precious gift, not forsake it. Unfortunately, many of the items we use every day are destroying the Earth-from toilet paper to gasoline! God gave us the gift of the Earth for our use, but we shouldn't disrespect Him and destroy our amazing resource... especially when there are SO MANY sustainable, renewable (and cheap/job producing!) alternatives. Only a small number of students are selected for this term and honestly, it’s an opportunity I can’t afford to miss.

The program includes so many opportunities for me to learn how to really make a difference and work on the issues I am passionate about. I’ll take part in workshops and get to learn about the issues Greenpeace addresses worldwide. My class will also travel for a week of the program to work on a real campaign somewhere in the United States.

As amazing as this experience is, it won’t be possible without your help. I am working hard to make sure I can reach this goal, but I need your support. I’m asking you to dig deep and buy a ticket. This is $2, less than the cost of a beer, to help get me a step closer to making this amazing opportunity a reality. The program’s tuition is $2,200 and really any amount helps.

Buying raffle tickets is easy. Click this link: http://tinyurl.com/4hs22eh to be taken to a secure paypal page where you can donate. Remember, tickets are $2 each, or 10 for $10. (You can buy more than 10 tickets, but these are the general price guidelines. All donations are appreciated.) Then, simply message me to tell me that you donated. I'll enter your tickets into the raffle.

The raffle will be held Friday, March 25, at 2 pm at NAU. Winners will be announced publicly and contacted immediately, no need to be present at the raffle. If you’re interested in learning more about this incredible opportunity, or have questions, just message me. I'd love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter and for your donation to our shared future in advance.
I’ll be sure to keep you posted about the incredible things we are doing throughout the semester!
Thanks again!

Love, Anna Fugate

Raffle!!

Hey, guys! There are a few modifications to the Goat's Milk Soap Raffle. Tickets are now, for a limited time, 10 for $10! Single tickets are still $2.

This all-natural, homemade soap was donated from Metzy Mom's Goat's Milk Soap Emporium. Thanks to Metzy!!!
You can visit her website at

The ingredients for the soap are on her site and they are environmentally-friendly, skin-friendly, AND high quality. This is the BEST soap I have ever used! I switched to this soap in 2006 and I will never go back to Dove, Oil of Olay, or ANY of those others from the store. Metzy Mom's soap is awesome!

Here's an example of what her soap looks like:

Besides the GREAT prize you can win, the money donated to the raffle supports positive change in the environment. Greenpeace is the number 1 organization to fight international destruction of our environment using non-violent, direct action. Not much media attention is given to the awful, unsustainable practices employed by many corporations worldwide. Greenpeace tries to expose this destruction of our planet, our only REAL resource. They also take action to stop these injustices.

This summer, I have the amazing opportunity to attend Greenpeace Summer Semester. This program trains young adults in the skills necessary to become leaders in the environmental preservation movement. Students also receive the chance to work on a REAL Greenpeace campaign to protect our Earth. After the semester, I will have gained the skills to take this fight for a sustainable future home!

As passionate as I am about nature, I cannot afford to miss this opportunity. Tuition is $2200 and I have $500 due in 2 weeks. With your help, I can reach this goal. With your donation, you're making a real commitment to the environment.

We love our American way-of-life, but in order to preserve it, we MUST change our environmental practices. We need sustainable alternatives to destruction. With your help, we can make a positive change in our world.

To learn more about Greenpeace, you can check out their website at greenpeace.org.

Please think about this issue. I hope YOU will decide that you want to help.

Raffle tickets are $2 each, or 10 for $10. Buy tickets here

Then simply comment on this post and I'll make sure to put your tickets in the raffle right away!

Thanks for your donation! Any amount really helps!!!
